About this mod Machine translation

Tools for use with Borderlands 2/TPS mods. Allows the user to disable unwanted parts of the mod, merging the mod into a single file.

A mod that automates the tedious process of manually merging files and prevents corruption caused by master files.

There are lots of features to make making your own mods easier!

feature:

  • Mutually exclusive options - let the user select one of the available options to prevent command conflicts
  • Automatically merge modules, merge patches and level merges.
  • Lock categories - so your end users don't disable sections that should never be disabled
  • Configuration files - store multiple mod configurations in the same file
  • Automatic updates - no more downloading updates yourself. New features and bugfixes occur over time.

For mod makers:

  • Exploring an Object - The time spent dumping objects in the game is significantly reduced, with a wealth of game data readily available in the game
  • Code formatting - Make your code easier to read and edit
  • Syntax Highlighting - see above
  • Error Detection - Detect errors in commands to make it a cleaner end product.

Short description:

To install BLCMM, place the launcher anywhere you can easily access it. After running the launcher, the remaining BLCMM files will be downloaded.

Once you've done this, BLCMM will prompt you to add spells to your game and enable your console, thus making your game ready to accept mods.

Once completed, you will be in BLCMM's main view where you can open and manage your mods.

For technical reasons, it is recommended to use a single mod file to execute the entire collection as a mod at once.

To combine mod files, use the Import function in the File menu.

Once all your mods are together, check/uncheck the sections for the mods you want, save the file, and it's ready to be used in the game.

BLCMM also provides tools for mod creators. It checks commands for various syntax and content errors, allowing for easy creation of patches.

Additionally, BLCMM will take care of merging your patches into a feature array, as well as combining multiple map merge statements.

Finally, BLCMM has an object browser that contains many useful objects from the game, pre-dumped, so you can focus on developing your mod instead of wasting time in the game and browsing log files.

When initially installed, BLCMM has some locking features that can be enabled through the settings menu or downloaded.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
