About this mod Machine translation
Please note that this mod is currently very powerful in many aspects. Please be patient (even more) for the next major update, which will provide more balanced skills, as well as synergies between skills. Thanks.
Furthermore, many of you may be wondering, why, especially regarding balance issues, has this model not been updated in half a year? Well, the simple answer is: laziness, procrastination and lack of will/care/motivation to complete the next update. I sincerely apologize to those of you who are eager for updates to this mod. The slightly more complicated answer is this: I haven't played a lot of Borderlands 2, and, as many of the modders who have been around me before me probably already know all too well: it's not easy to make or develop mods for a game you don't regularly play. Thank you for understanding and always being patient as I slowly and actively encourage this.
In fact, now that this mod has garnered over 10K views and 1K downloads, I'll probably start working on it seriously soon (a while ago, in the last month, I did a lot of work on the update, but not enough to be ready for release).
Also, I may upload a small update to remove the over-crafted skills as soon as possible, probably before the next major update.
This mod requires a Border Community Mod Manager (BLCMM) in order to work correctly with other mods. You can find it here:
As the brief overview says, this mod improves the performance of Axton and his turrets in terms of damage and survivability. However, this mod is still in development, so Patches, Fixes, and new additions are coming soon (and hopefully feedback and suggestions). Still, it's not too far off from the full version.
Wondering what this mod actually changes? Well, the changelog for this update (no changes from vanilla to Axton Revisited, coming soon) can be found in the Zip file of the mod itself. You can also use BLCMM to view all skill changes in the mod. Just go to mod -> Skill Changelog and you can view all the changes provided by this mod. But keep in mind that sometimes the change log can be a little out of date. Sometimes I forget to update it. But regardless, playing Ingame and looking at your SkillTrees will reveal what's really going on.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
