SiphonBeam
No cooldown. A circle that charges only while OTHER players stand inside it, buying one beam that pierces every platform on the map.
About this mod Author’s original text
Siphon Beam
A Bopl Battle ability. It charges off other people.
There is no cooldown. Instead you carry a dashed circle, and it fills only while other
players are standing inside it; faster the more of them there are. Nobody inside and it
simply stops progress. The cooldown and the ring are the meter.
Once charged, it gives one shot. Hold to aim and release to fire a beam that pierces every platform
on the map. You are rooted while aiming and the shot locks to a grid of compass directions
(this is deliberate, because free aim gave mouse players a large advantage over controllers without locks)
Siphon charge radius scales with player size and anything explosive it passes goes off.
- Charge: 5 seconds of one player inside the circle; two players halve it
- Cooldown: none — the charge is the whole cost
- Aiming: eight fixed directions, rooted while you aim
- Beam: passes through every platform
- Dependencies: BepInEx only

Private lobbies work; invite a friend through Steam as usual. Both players need the same
mods installed, or the ability lists won't line up. can export your whole
profile as a code for them to import.
Public matchmaking is disabled by the game whenever any mod is loaded. That's Bopl's rule, not
this mod's.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
