BubbleGum
A pink ball that never slows down. It ricochets off everything and kills on contact, until its fourth bounce pops it.
About this mod Author’s original text
Bubble Gum
A Bopl Battle ability. A pink ball that never stops.
Hold to aim, release to throw. The ball ricochets off platforms, players and loose objects
without ever slowing down, and kills anyone it touches. It bounces off grenades, mines and
sheep rather than passing through them — but an arrow pops it.
It survives three bounces. The fourth contact bursts it.
- Cooldown: 3.9 seconds, and it won't reload until the ball is gone
- Contacts: pops on the fourth
- Popped by: arrows
- Scales: with the thrower
- Dependencies: BepInEx only
Installing
Install Mod Manager or r2modman, then launch the game from the mod manager.
The ability appears in the ability-select grid.
By hand: drop BubbleGum.dll into BepInEx/plugins/BubbleGum.
Playing online
Private lobbies work — invite a friend through Steam as usual. Both players need the same
mods installed, or the ability lists won't line up. can export your whole
profile as a code for them to import.
Public matchmaking is disabled by the game whenever any mod is loaded. That's Bopl's rule, not
this mod's.
Building from source
Requires the.NET SDK and a Steam copy of Bopl Battle.
dotnet build -c Release
The paths to the game and to your mod profile are set at the top of BubbleGum.csproj — change
them to match your machine. Close the game before building; Windows locks the DLL while it
is loaded.
Artwork lives in Resources/ and is compiled into the DLL, so PNG edits only take effect
after a rebuild.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
