BoplMapScale
Scales camera and blast zone bounds, and makes the camera follow players vertically. All lobby players must use the same Multiplier.
About this mod Author’s original text
Bopl Map Scale
Expands the camera and blast zone bounds by a configurable multiplier, and lets the camera follow players vertically and zoom further out.
Important
- Every player in a lobby must use the same Multiplier. Physics bounds differ otherwise, and the match desyncs.
- Do not use this mod in public online matches where other players do not have it installed.
- Platforms, background art and water level are not scaled. Beyond the original edges you will see empty space.
Settings
Config file: BepInEx/config/local.bopl.mapscale.cfg
| Key | Default | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Multiplier | 1.5 | Scale factor for camera and blast zone bounds. Must be greater than zero. |
What it changes
- SceneBounds camera X/Y limits and blast zone X/Y limits are multiplied by Multiplier.
- PlayerAverageCamera gets UpdateY = true, weight = 5, and MAX_ZOOM is multiplied by Multiplier. MIN_ZOOM is left as the level sets it, so the camera still adapts to player spread.
Requirements
- BepInEx 5.4.x (installed through BepInExPack).
Installation
Install through a mod manager, or copy BoplMapScale.dll into BepInEx/plugins.
Log
On start the log prints the applied bounds. When a match camera is hooked, it prints the original and new UpdateY, weight, MIN_ZOOM and MAX_ZOOM.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
