Ultra Mersion Gun Jamming
Jams guns at random!
About this mod Author’s original text
Gun Jamming Version 1.1.8!
Credit to Jass#8717 for reminding me to redo this mod and providing some ideas!
To use, install the DLL file into your mods folder, and your gun will have a random chance of jamming when firing!
When it jams, you need to pull the charging handle again to unjam it (no more empty mags!)
Modprefs included, bonemenu support pending (when I can figure it out lol)
Enjoy;)
Changelog:
Version 1.1.8: Fixed a bug where pulling the charging handle without holding the trigger grip would not unjam the gun
Version 1.1.7: Fixed a bug where scene changes caused guns to take the same 'bolt action' effect as in the previous patch
Version 1.1.6: Fixed a bug where the guns would become 'bolt action' after jamming sometimes (Thanks again to Piffen for letting me know about it!)
Version 1.1.5: Fixed a bug where guns would no longer jam after jamming once
Version 1.1.4: Changed jamming method to be compatible with R2 mod manager! (Thanks to Piffen for letting me know about the issue!) and added the option to exclude certain weapons from jamming in melonprefs!
Version 1.1.3: Added a small patch to prevent the M2 Browning custom item from jamming because it has no charging handle to unjam with
Version 1.1.2: Fixed a mod-breaking issue to do with some wacky logic (totally my fault for not testing enough lmao), all credit to gnonme#2200 for guiding me through a fix:)
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
