Working HLA gravity gloves with wrist pockets
A faithful recreation of the gravity glove grab mechanic from Half-Life: Alyx. Also including functional wrist pockets.
How to use the grab
- Point at an object with an open hand. The one you're pointing at glows.
- Hold grip to lock onto it.
- Flick your wrist, and it flies toward your hand in an arc. Catch it yourself when it reaches your hand.
Features
- The objects will automatically rotate in the air to fit in your hand when it reaches it.
- Includes visuals and sounds closely resembling those in Half-Life: Alyx
- Extremely customizable settings for both the functions and visuals, for those who want that.
How to use the wrist pocket
- Bring something you're holding to the pocket on your wrist and let go, then it goes in. A small copy shows what's inside.
- To bring something out, reach to a pocket with an open hand and grab to take it out, it's held the way you put it in.
- Bring something else to a full pocket to swap it, the old one drops out beside it.
Installation
If you're not using a mod loader you can install it by hand by putting Mods/GravityGloves.dll in BONELAB's Mods folder.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
