Custom ColorUI
Recolor BONELAB's menus and UI to any color you want. Pick from 30 built-in colors, and the UI changes instantly.
Made by Rav & claudyboi & Xylar.
What's new in 2.5.0
- Quest support through BoneMenu (requires BoneLib)
- Instant recoloring: UI is tinted the moment it appears, no delay
Features
- 30 colors: Crimson, Blood, Orange, Gold, Toxic, Mint, Teal, Cyan, Ocean, Midnight, Violet, Magenta, Hot Pink, Silver, White and more
- Recolors the main menu, avatar menu, wrist UI and other in-game panels
- Pick colors from BoneMenu > Custom ColorUI (VR, PC and Quest)
- Popup shows the selected color, then fades out (flatscreen PC)
- Use any custom color with a hex code in the config
- Turn it off any time to restore the original colors
- Local only. It does not touch networking, so it is safe to use with Fusion and nobody else sees your colors
Using it
Open BoneMenu > Custom ColorUI:
- Enabled: on / off
- Next Color / Previous Color
- All Colors: tap any color directly
- Strength: how strongly the color replaces the original
- Tint Text: also recolor text
- Popup: show or hide the flatscreen popup

Requirements
- MelonLoader
- BoneLib (required)
Platforms
- PC (flatscreen and PC VR): supported
- Quest: supported through BoneMenu, but experimental and not tested on a headset by the author yet. It needs a Quest install that already runs MelonLoader and BoneLib, which this mod does not set up for you.
Notes
- Some UI that uses custom shaders or dark base colors may not fully change color.
- The on-screen popup only shows on the flatscreen window, not in a headset.
Install
- Install MelonLoader and BoneLib, then launch BONELAB once.
- Put CustomColorUI.dll in the Mods folder (the mod manager does this for you).
- Launch the game and open BoneMenu.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
