Crosshairs
A simple crosshair mod for your guns. Point and shoot!
About this mod Author’s original text
Crosshairs is a simple mod that adds a crosshair to any gun you pick up.
This mod has been on the backburner for quite some time, and I never released it. I figured it would be nice to give this to the fans who asked for it, because honestly it's quite cool to have. Have fun!
Installation
- Drag both the Mods and UserData folders into your game install directory
- You're done!
Custom Crosshairs
Installation
To install any custom crosshair, drag its respective folder into `UserData/Not Enough Photons/Crosshairs`.
Creation
If you want to create a crosshair, it is quite easy!
- Make a new folder inside `UserData/Not Enough Photons/Crosshairs`, and name it whatever you want.
- Create a crosshair image in Photoshop, GIMP, Affinity, etc. and export it as a PNG into the created directory.
- Repeat for any other crosshairs in that folder until you are satisifed!
Future Features
- Change crosshair size in menu
- Gun spread affecting crosshairs
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
