RemoveSlapCooldown
Removes the slap cooldown and the wind-up delay before the hand connects. Configurable: set your own cooldown instead of none, or keep vanilla wind-up.
About this mod Author’s original text
BOMBANANA! makes you wait between slaps, and the hand takes a moment to wind up before it
actually connects. This mod removes both. Everything is configurable — you can give yourself a
short cooldown instead of none, or keep the vanilla wind-up and only drop the cooldown.
Multiplayer
The host has the final say on whether a slap actually lands on someone. If the host is running
vanilla, your hand swings fast but the extra slaps don't connect. Because the slap has a wind-up
animation, you may need to adjust the speed.
Settings
Configure in your mod manager, or edit BepInEx/config/codaaaaaa.bombanana.noslapcooldown.cfg after
the first run.
| Setting | Default | |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Enabled | true | Turn the whole mod off without uninstalling |
| CooldownSeconds | 0 | 0 = no cooldown. Set e.g. 0.2 for your own cooldown instead |
| WindupSpeedMultiplier | 4 | How much faster the hand swings. 1 = vanilla, higher ≈ instant |
| AlsoSpeedUpRecovery | true | Snap the hand back after the hit, instead of a slow return |
| RemoveImpactCooldown | true | Let every rapid slap show a reaction on the victim |
| Verbose | true | Log a line the first time each check is bypassed. Safe to turn off |
Heads up: other players see your swing animation at normal speed — the slap just connects earlier
than the hand looks like it should. Cosmetic only, it doesn't change what the game registers.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
