BOMBANANA Library

A shared Reflection API for BOMBANANA! Demo mods.

It provides typed and safe access to game systems, including bombs, modules, missions, lobbies, levels, networking, menus, emotes, and save data.

If a mod requires BOMBANANA.Library, this is the dependency it needs.

Features

  • Property-first lookup with field fallback — decompiled member names work without manually handling property/field differences.
  • Type resolution across assemblies — types can be resolved even when the game splits them between multiple assemblies.
  • Null-safe access to null — destroyed objects and missing members return null instead of crashing your plugin.
  • Unwrapped game exceptions — reflection wrappers are removed so you can see the actual game exception.

What plugins can do

| Area | Access |

| --------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------- |

| Bomb | Health, timer, sockets, and bomb events |

| Modules | Module state, steps, seeds, solving, and damage |

| Mission | Mission lifecycle and spawning |

| Report | Time, mistakes, and mission grade |

| Lobby | Players, level selection, and ready state |

| Levels | Unlock checks and campaign limits |

| Network | Server, host, listening state, configuration, and network variables |

| Menu | Current menu state and navigation |

| Emotes | Identifiers, animations, and profiles |

| Save data | Unlocking, saving, and loading |

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
  3. For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.

Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
