About this mod Author’s original text
smolMods
Every smolMod in one install. This bundle pulls in the whole family as dependencies:
- Core — the sMods settings category
- ShareChangedEyeState — eye state, "still animated", and sharing with modded friends
- ColorSelf — head / torso / legs colours, remember colours, torso-coloured HUD
- DarkMenus — dark paper menus
…and itself ships the bundle-exclusive extras:
In the game's own General page, right where the crosshair setting lives:
- Crosshair — one setting with five choices: Full / Slick / SSmol / Small / Off.
Full and Small are the game's own crosshairs; Slick and SSmol are a clean text
crosshair (( + ) and +) that turns into an x while you are carrying something or
pressing a button, with a kick-strength bar under it.
- Crosshair size — 0% to 200% (0% hides it completely).
In the game's own Controls page:
- Arms up stick time — how long you must hold a raised prop before your arms lock.
Left is Toggle (locks instantly), right is Hold (the game's natural five
seconds), in 0.1s steps between. The lock ring fills at the matching speed.
- Sticky buttons — hold-to-press world buttons stay pressed from one click until you
click again. Off by default.
Everything else lives under Settings → sMods, with a live character figure on the
page showing your colours and eye state.
Upgrading from BigMods / BigDarkMenus: delete BigMods.dll and BigDarkMenus.dll
from BepInEx/plugins — the old and new plugins must not run together.
Big Walk has no anti-cheat, and these mods don't change how the game plays
for anyone who doesn't have them.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
