BalatroRebalanced
An attempt at rebalancing Balatro
About this mod Author’s original text
Balatro Rebalanced
Giving some love to unpopular Jokers, Consumables, Vouchers, and Mechanics while relieving some frustration points around certain Decks and Stakes.
Overview
This mod rebalances a wide range of Jokers, Consumables, Vouchers, Decks, Stakes, and poker hands. The focus is on buffing underused or underwhelming content (like Loyalty Card, Ouija, and Magic Trick) rather than nerfing the game into the ground, while also smoothing out a few notoriously frustrating mechanics (like Black Deck and Blue Seal). The Skipping mechanic has also been revamped as a whole, on top of changes made to many of the Skip Tags.
If you've ever picked up a Joker and thought "why would anyone ever use this," this mod is probably for you.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide. These mods need a community loader first — the bundled readme usually points to its download.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
