A mod for Bad North that changes island generation, giving you a chance to encounter larger islands and potentially taller mountains.
🌟 Features
- Larger Islands: Adjusts the island generation rules to create larger and more varied island sizes (up to 13 width).
- Custom Logic: Islands with a width greater than 11 (i.e., 12 or 13) will have their height limited to 2, creating unique, wide-but-flat battlefields.
- Balanced Variety: Small and medium islands still appear, but you now have a chance for much larger ones.
🛠️ Installation (Requires BepInEx)
- Make sure you have BepInEx for Bad North installed.
- Download this mod.
- Place the mod's.dll file (e.g., islandsize.dll) into your BepInEx plugins folder.
- The correct path is: BadNorth/BepInEx/plugins/
🤝 Compatibility
This mod is designed to be compatible with most other mods. It should not cause conflicts and can be used alongside your other favorite mods (like the Biome Mod) without issues.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
