About this mod Author’s original text
🏴☠️ BadnorthModflagpattern
A mod for Bad North that randomly assigns new banner patterns to commanders without unique traits, and allows you to customize your own decals.
✨ Features
New Flag Patterns: Automatically applies a variety of beautiful, randomized patterns to the flags of non-trait commanders, adding visual flair.
Custom Decals: Easily add your own flag patterns to the rotation
🎨 How to Create Custom Flag Patterns
1.Image Size: Create an image with dimensions of 180x130 pixels.
2.Pattern Color: The pattern itself should only be rendered in white (The mod uses this white pattern and applies the commander's color palette over it).
3.Placement: Place your created image file into the mod's flag\_pattern folder.
4.File Naming: Name your file using the format: decal\_(number).png, for example: decal\_19.png or decal\_20.png.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
