Homebrewery - Add NEW items and parts to the game!
\
Made through sheer force of will, with internal art content and many parts by Remedy (like that sweet art there), and parts/items made by Saucy Goblin, Jaytwoster, Zoé, Cowpy, Kiruex, Descen, WolfKann and WilsonHough. (and some totally serious programmer art parts/items by myself!)
Also thanks to all of these cool duders for helping out in some way, shape or form along the way: Marioalexsan, Remedy, Soggy_Pancake, DivergentDreams, Saucy Goblin, Nori, Shmaus, Zoé, Jaytwoster, Nyx, Zo¡!, Spicy~, Valerie, Nessie, Captain Baconator, Tea, Lone, TransientGuy, ScottyFox, Rainwolf, Hestia, Poonsplorer, Cowpy, Stone_slab442, Zeina, Rukio, Kiruex, Descen, Rune, Kita, Newt.
Special thanks to Stoingularity for going to the trouble of sorting out the vanilla hairs for each race's part sharing, among other mesh contributions!
User Manual
Here's a user manual I put together which contains guides on how to install, how to use the mod, how to make items/parts etc, I did the best I could. Explaining things is not at the forefront of my limited skillset.
Custom Mesh Support via GLTF!
You'll need this for it to work (r2Modman/TSMM/Gale will get it automatically):
AtlyssGLTF
This is a soft dependency so if you have issues with custom meshes, you do not have to keep this plugin installed!
CodeYapper is REQUIRED!
You'll need this for multiplayer syncing like parts and consumable effects to work (r2Modman/TSMM/Gale will get it automatically):
CodeYapper
AtlyssCommandLib is REQUIRED!
You'll need this for the chat commands (r2Modman/TSMM/Gale will get it automatically):
AtlyssCommandLib
Features:
- Custom Mouths, Eyes, Skins, Byrdle Beak textures, Dyes, Shields, Helms, Leggings, Chestpieces, Consumables, Trade Items, Weapons, Model parts (GLB files) and Sound effects (MP3/OGG files).
- Consumable item effects, with dedicated per-race config files to specify limits for the proportions effects.
- Hotkeys for previewing the eye and mouth states in the character customisation UIs.
- A patch to make the eyes use the closed state when they blink.
- The Vanity Mirror patched to be free.
- HB Phone, a custom NPC dialogue, with shortcuts to the Storage UI, World Portal UI and the Vanity Mirror UI.
- Skrit's Homebrewery Item Shop, featuring pagination and content pack filtering.
- All race's eyes, mouths and skins are spread to all other races in character customisation. Can be turned off via a config setting.
- All race's hairs (up to 1.6.2b) reimported via AtlyssGLTF and setup for every other race - Thanks Stoingularity!
- Files for custom things should automatically reload for changes, if not, use Ctrl + R, and if that still doesn't get them, use Shift + Ctrl + R to force HB to reload everything.
- A simple texture replacer, using a folder structure to match the game's container paths so as to only selectively load textures.
- A fair few chat commands for things like consumable effects, setting adjustments, roleplay tools etc.
- Customise the camera settings like min-max zoom, clipping with terrain, never hiding the player and making the camera orbit the head no matter the character's scale.
- A freecam built atop the custom camera system.
- Override the character customisation slider ranges and set custom proportion limits.
- Customise the jiggle settings for the Player character jiggle bones.
- And many other things I can't keep track of in my head!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
