Expanded Canisters
This mod adds a small resource canister that can be placed on the backpack! This canister holds up to 4 resource nuggets, and can be crafted with plastic using the backpack printer. You can unlock the item in the backpack tab of the catalogue, 2 down 1 to the left! Have fun!
Installation
Requires AstroModLoader Classic by Atenfyr. Download it here:
Open AstroModLoader Classic and drop the mod.zip file onto AstroModLoader Classic.
Future Plans
I've got (most) of the code working for some other large canisters, but I'm missing assets and sorely lack both the time and skills needed for them. If you are interested in helping out with the assets for the other canisters im working on, check out the Astroneer modding discord ive got a bounty on them!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
