You could make a giant pillar (2 snap points per pillar) and place one of the custom tree platforms on top of it. You can choose wood, stone or metal as the base material. Most parts come in a variety of looks. Solid, Net, Glass and a few others are just open.
There are even extensions for these platforms so you can extend your platform with an extension. You can also make your Tree Homes multi-story.

There is also an experimental way to grow your own redwood trees anywhere.
Redwood, Dead Redwood, Snowy Redwood, Dead Snowy Redwood are available.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
