Automated Ark is a modification to ARK Survival Evolved that adds a range of useful equipment to make some of the more boring tasks in Ark a little easier. All the equipment was added to automate a lot of the boring stuff that has to be done in the game, like filling crop plots with fertilizer.

Below is a quick video explanation of how to use the new OCD traction system.

To prevent any dino or structure from being pulled, just put a * or ~~ in the name of the dino or structure. If the structure cannot be renamed, take out the Building Assistant and place the trackball on the structure, if remapped then hit the "C" or crouch button. This will allow you to name any structure in the game.

AA::Console

This controls all OCD Pulling and Craft Pulling in the mod. You must have one of these in your base for auto or work. The automatic pull feature is disabled by default. With automatic paper pull disabled, paper pull can still be used. **NOTE** With pull enabled, the console will start sorting everything into the OCD storage system. If you don't set up a new system beforehand, it will pull everything into the console. This allows for easy setup. Simply take one of each item and add it to the safe, hit the Add Resource button, and wait for the console to sort them all into the vault. This is an efficient way to make sure everything has a place to be stored. If it's in the console, then it doesn't have an OCD storage point. OCD storage includes an OCD vault, OCD driftwood vault, veggie crates, refrigerator, freezer, grill and grinder. More storage, including but not limited to metal paintable vaults, is not coming soon.

**********Items with OCD pulls include OCD metal vaults, OCD marbles, safes, OCD driftwood vaults, OCD drop vaults, veggie crates, refrigerators, freezers, grills and grinders ********** ******

AA::OCD Vault (Thatch, Marble, Metal and Water Drops)

Add an item, click the "Add Resource to List" button and the safe will pull the resource into it. Check out the video above for a quick tutorial.

AA:: Refrigerated Chemestry Station

The refrigerated chemical station is equipped with an automatic pull function. Simply click on the blueprint and click Pull Resources. You can also change the number of resources to pull.

AA::vacuum

Pick items off the ground via the console to sort.

AA:: Smithicator

Automated Ark Custom Smith, also has a top snap. These two structures combined will craft all items in the game, including many items from other mods. Autopulling completed!

AA:: Cauldron

Automated Arks uses industrial pots. The structure is self-irrigating and you can even collect water pipes and use them as a water source. Auto pull done!

AA::Kibble station

This structure can be used as a water source like the cauldron of early swimming water, and used to craft any AA-specific grits or consumables. This is separate from the Cauldron, so server administrators can easily disable it to eliminate any items that may be deemed too normal for playback.

AA: Dehydrator

This is Automation Ark’s commitment to the maintenance station. It runs on electricity and requires no spark or oil to create jerky!

AA::compost bin

Automatically collect manure and thatch to package fertilizer. Also push dung beetles to make fertilizer for them.

AA::Fertilizer Silo

Collect fertilizer from AA compost bins and dung beetles. Evenly distribute the range to all crops!

AA::egg carton

Collect eggs from all nearby dinos!

AA::refrigerated feed chute

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
