Arcade Movement
Smooth sprint and quick dash for Ancient Dungeon VR. Hold your dominant-hand stick/trackpad click to sprint; double‑click the opposite hand to dash. Works in single‑player and multiplayer, and can be toggled in the in‑game Mod Manager.
Features
- Hold‑to‑Sprint: Boost your movement speed while the dominant‑hand stick/trackpad is pressed.
- Quick Dash: Double‑click the opposite hand to burst forward. Uses charges with a short recharge.
- Smart Handing: Follows your “movement controller” setting (left/right) and maps sprint/dash automatically.
- Smooth‑Only: Activates with smooth locomotion. Teleport/monke movement is ignored.
- Plug‑and‑Play: No setup needed beyond dropping the mod into Mods.
Items
- Unlimited Sprint (Relic): Sprint does not drain — hold to sprint indefinitely.
- Upgraded Dash (Relic): +1 dash charge and faster recharge.
These are added to the item pool and show up like other relics.
How To Use
- Install: Place ArcadeMovement.dll in your game’s Mods/ folder (MelonLoader required).
- Enable: Launch the game and toggle the mod in the Mods list if needed.
- Controls:
- Sprint: Hold Primary2DAxis click (stick/trackpad press) on your dominant hand.
- Dash: Double‑click Primary2DAxis on the opposite hand.
- Tips: The mod auto‑detects your movement hand and only runs with smooth locomotion.
Requirements
- Ancient Dungeon VR with MelonLoader 0.7.x.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
