WIP / Disclaimer
This mod is a work in progress.
I originally made this for friends who experience motion sickness while playing in first person, and I wanted to share it in case it helps anyone else.
I created this mod with (a LOT) of guidance from friends and...AI (sorry) and no professional coding/modding experience (just one college course for fun and some free online classes), so I:
- can't guarantee it will work with other mods
- can't guarantee I will keep it updated 🙁
- can't guarantee I'll be able to fix the bugs beyond the one's I've fixed already 😅 sorry
The current third-person animations are the animations normally shown to other players, so some animations are missing or simplified (e.g. the "blocking" animation I used is just a freeze frame of the attack animation).
All in all, the mod does what we needed it to do!
Updates
- 10/06/26 - Fixed looping animation speed. Made it so dropping an item drops it in front of the player 😅. Known bug: picking up an equippable item into a selected empty hotbar slot shows a funky animation. Working on it...but a lot of my work is dependent on when my friends are free to help me or answer my silly noob questions 😂 (bless them lol)
- 09/22/26 - Sped up attack animation to get it a little closer to the real hit speed
- 09/20/26 - Fixed camera zoom issue when ending the dishwasher mini game

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
