Installation instructions:
- The game **HoneySelect 2 DX version** (left side of Figure 1) needs to be installed, not Honeyselect 2 (right side of Figure 1)
- It is recommended that **before installation**, **backup** your **game** first!
- If you have used BetterRepack, please confirm your version before installation.
- The translation files of the original game may be lost after installation (BetterRepack seems to use online Google Translate)
Installation steps
- Double-click the installation package, the system will prompt you, click Yes
- In the next step, you can select the language, find Chinese and click OK (Figure 2)
- Select the path where your **HoneySelect 2 DX version** game is installed (as shown in Figure 3)
- If you **have not installed BetterRepack** -- decide the installation point Yes to continue (**Figure 4** prompts that the game may have an error after installation, so please back up the entire game first). If you have installed the previous version of BR, the next version installation will not appear

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
