RTGI Reshade Default

✨ A Reshade preset designed for "Assassin's Creed: Odyssey" that uses the qUINT_RTGI shader to achieve ray-traced global illumination effects and enhances local contrast to give the game graphics more depth and realism.

---

🛠️ Installation Guide

  • **Install the latest version of Reshade**.
  • Copy the **qUINT_RTGI shader** file you have into your game's `reshade-shaders` folder.
  • Extract this preset file to the game root directory and overwrite the existing files.

⚙️ Configuration and Debugging

**IMPORTANT NOTE:** The following operations must be performed **in-game**, not on the main menu interface.

  • After entering the game, press the **HOME** key to call out the Reshade overlay interface.
  • Enable the **DisplayDepth** shader.

✅ Situation 1: Configuration successful

If the left half of the screen displays a strange color and the right half displays a grayscale image, congratulations! The configuration has taken effect.

  • Just turn off the `DisplayDepth` shader and start enjoying the enhanced graphics.

🔧 Case 2: Depth buffer matching

If you see a **full black screen**, follow these steps:

  • Click the **"Add-ons"** tab at the top of the Reshade window.
  • You will see all available depth buffer options.
  • **Try clicking** each option one by one until the screen appears with a split-screen effect of "color on the left and gray on the right" or "color on the left and black on the right".
  • Once the split screen effect appears, return to **"Home"** and turn off the `DisplayDepth` shader. Finish!

🔄 Case 3: Invert depth value

If the right side of the screen is completely black, please follow these steps:

  • Return to **"Home"** and **disable** `Performance Mode`.
  • Click **"Edit global processors definition"**.
  • Change the value of `RESHADE_DEPTH_IS_REVERSED` from **0** to **1**.
  • Click **"Edit global processors definition"** again to save changes.
  • Re-enable `Performance Mode` and turn off the `DisplayDepth` shader. You're done!

---

🎮 **Usage Suggestions**: It is recommended to use it when performance allows to get the best light, shadow and contrast improvement experience. After the adjustment is completed, you can use the HOME key to switch the effect on and off at any time in the game to compare the differences with the original screen.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
