This mod sets the O key to confirm and the X key to cancel, allowing you to play the game the correct way ;)

🎮 **Let the game return to familiar operation logic! **

This module aims to correct the key layout, changing the confirmation key to **O** and the cancel key to **X**, in line with the usage habits of Asian players.

✨ Module function

• **Version 1**: Only swapped the functions of the **X** and **O** keys.
• **Version 2**: Swap the **X** and **O** keys, and **additionally swap** the **△** and **□** keys.
• This makes the **△** key used for functions such as explode/delete/transmit, as **△** often represents "half-wrong" or "opinion" in culture.

🔧 Installation and usage guide

1. Enable the module

First, you need to install and run **Forger Patch Manager**.

• Download and run `forger.exe` (please refer to its page instructions for specific methods).
• Go to your Assassins Creed Odyssey game installation directory (for example: `C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Assassins Creed Odyssey`).
• You should see a folder called `ForgerPatches`.
• Place the downloaded module files (3 in total) into the `ForgerPatches` folder.
• Start `forger.exe` and enable this mod.

2. Configure the software to identify O as the confirmation key

In order for the game to correctly recognize the keys, you need to configure them in one of the following ways (**For those using Nintendo controllers, please see the shortcuts below**):

• Use `x360ce` software.
• Use Steam's controller configuration.
• Using `DS4Windows` software.

The goal is for the game to recognize **O** as the bottom button and **X** as the right button. (Version 2 also requires additional swapping of the **□** and **△** keys).

**Steam quick configuration (applicable to version 2, if you need version 1, please adjust △ and □ yourself): **

Save this configuration to your game.

3. In-game remapping

After completing the above steps, enter the game:

• Go to Options -> Controls.
• In Controller Icon, select **DualShock 4**.
• In Custom Controls, swap the buttons for **Ability 2** and **Ability 3**.
• Other control buttons can be exchanged according to personal preference. (Version 2 also requires the additional exchange of **Ability 1** and **Ability 4**).

🎮 **Nintendo Controller User Shortcuts**

If you use a Nintendo controller but want to see the PlayStation button layout icons, here's a shortcut:

• **Step 1** Same as above (enable mod).
• **Skip step 2**.
• Enter Steam's controller configuration and check both **"Switch Pro configuration support"** and **"Use Nintendo button layout"**.
• **Step 3** Same as above (in-game remapping).

• Make sure the mod version you download (1 or 2) matches your configuration steps.

Developer's note: It's a pity that Sony has succumbed to Xbox's control scheme on the latest PS5, forcing American "logic" on the Asian market. Why can't there be two options to satisfy all players?
