ACO ReShade

This mod uses ReShade 3.4 to create more enhanced game graphics.

🎨 **This is my personal visual mod. Although it is not the final version, it can make the game screen more gorgeous. I'm trying to make it more photorealistic, closer to the (slightly hazy) look of Assassin's Creed Unity. **

📥 Installation Guide

**Step 1**: Extract the contents of the ZIP file.

**Step 2**: Install ReShade:

• Run `ReShade_Setup_3.4.1.exe`.
• In the ReShade installer window, select the game, then browse to the game directory: `STEAM\steamapps\common\Assassins Creed Odyssey` and select `ACOdyssey.exe`.
• Click to select the `direct3D 10+` option.
• The installer will automatically download all required shaders and textures.

**Step 3**: Open the game and if everything is fine, press `SHIFT+F2` to open the ReShade window.

• Click `START TUTORIAL`, then `CONTINUE`.
• Click on the `+` sign (see image below) to create a new profile.
• Name it `ACO_V0` and exit the game. This action will create a new, empty configuration file in the game directory.

**Step 4**: Copy the `ACO_V0.ini` in the ZIP file to the game directory (replace the original file), enter the game again and check whether the special effects have been applied. Finish!

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE

• **In this new version, ReShade runs as an application within the game. Press `SHIFT+F2` to open the configuration box. **
• **If ReShade 3.4 fails to load all effects or has some glitches (such as the screen showing a strange red color), just press `SHIFT+F2`, go to `HOME`, and press the `RELOAD` button to reload all effects. **

🗑️ Uninstall method

Delete the following files from the game directory:

• `reshade-shaders-master` (folder)
• `dxgi.dll`
• `dxgi.ini`
• `ACO_V0.ini`
