ACE Visual Overhaul Collection - Use ReShade to enhance graphics and cinematic effects

This is an ever-expanding collection of ReShade presets that can enhance the visuals of Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, making them more vivid, realistic or cinematic, depending on the preset you choose. Each preset also adds a host of optional cinematic effects. As of version 1.3, 6 ReShade presets are included, and I will continue to add more over the life of the game.

✨ Introduction and Features

This is an ever-expanding collection of ReShade presets designed to enhance the visual experience of Assassin's Creed: Odyssey! 🎮 Depending on the preset you choose, the game graphics can become more **vivid**, **authentic** or **cinematic**. Each preset includes tons of optional movie-quality special effects to make your trip to Greece stunning!

As of version 1.3, the collection contains **six** carefully tuned presets:

• **Natural Realism Series (2 styles)**: Pursue real light, shadow and color.
• **Vivid and vivid series (3 styles)**:
• Cool color style
• Warm color style
• **Neutral style** (closer to the original tone)
• **Extreme style series (1 style)**: Olympus preset (exaggerated effect, very distinctive)

**All presets have corrected the annoying yellow tint of the original version of the game! ** 🎨

In addition, these ReShades come with a rich set of **optional movie special effects**, including:

• 🎥 Cinematic depth of field
• 📽️ Film Grain
• 🖼️ Top and bottom black borders (wide screen effect)
• 🌈 Chromatic aberration and anamorphic lens distortion
• ✨ Enhanced halo and lens smudge effects

🎮 Hotkey description

All hotkeys can be remapped in-game. (**Please make sure the keypad is enabled**, otherwise the controls may not work).

• **Turn on/off ReShade menu** - `F4`
• **Toggle all ReShade effects** - `END`
• **Switch depth of field effect** - Numpad `/`
• **Switch Lens Distortion & Chromatic Aberration** - Numpad `2`
• **Switch sharpening effect** - Numpad `5`
• **Toggle Film Grain** - Numpad `3`
• **Switch upper and lower black borders** - small keyboard `0`
• **Toggle glow and lens effects** - Numpad `6`
• **Switch vignetting effect** - Numpad `*`
• **Switch distant view soft depth of field** (off by default, because it often blurs the compass. It is recommended to turn the compass display on and off, according to personal preference) - Keypad `1`
• **Toggle Clarity Effect** (Olympus preset only) - Numpad `7`

📥 Installation Guide

• **Download ReShade 3.4.1**: Get the installer from this link.
• **Run the ReShade installer**: Select your `ACOdyssey.exe` file (usually located in `C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Assassins Creed Odyssey`).
• **Select API**: Select **DirectX 10+**.
• **Download Effect Collection**: When asked whether to download the effects collection, select **Yes**.
• **Uncheck all effects**: Click "Uncheck All", don't worry, I will provide all the required effect files separately.
• **Download this collection**: Download the .zip file named "Mercs Ace Collection 1-0 Release" from and unzip it.
• **Copy files**: Copy all unzipped files and folders to your "Assassin's Creed: Odyssey" game home directory (the folder where `ACOdyssey.exe` is located). If prompted to overwrite, please confirm (this only overwrites the ReShade file and will not affect the game files).
• **Edit Configuration File**: Open the `ReShade.ini` file and make sure the following three lines of path match your game installation path:
