AC Odyssey Mod Manager
🎮 **Easily manage your Assassin's Creed: Odyssey skin mods! **
This tool lets you manage your `.forge` file skin mods like a pro. Say goodbye to the chaos of manual copying and pasting and enjoy the convenience of one-click activation/deactivation!
🚀 Quick Start Guide
- **Setup**: Place `AC_Odyssey_Mod_Manager.exe` into your game home folder (where `ACOdyssey.exe` is located). The program will automatically create a `mods` folder.
- **Start**: Double-click to run `AC_Odyssey_Mod_Manager.exe`.
- **Add Module**: Click "+ Add Module", select a `.forge` file, and give it a **unique** name. You can also add a preview image (supports `.png`/`.jpg` format) through the "Browse Image" button, and then click "Save Module".
- **Activate**: Click the switch next to the module. The status will change to **ACTIVE (green)**. Its `.forge` file will be moved to the main game folder. ⚠️ **Note**: Only one module can be activated at a time. Activating a new one will automatically deactivate the old one.
- **Deactivate**: Click the switch again. The status will change back to **INACTIVE (red)** and the `.forge` files will be moved back to the `mods` folder.
- **Close**: Click the 'X' button in the window, and all your settings will be automatically saved.
📝 Important information
- **Inactive Mods**: stored in the `mods` folder.
- **Activity Mods**: Stored in the main game folder.
- **Rename Mod**: Simply rename the corresponding subfolder in the `mods` folder.
- **Delete Mod**: Delete the corresponding subfolder directly in the `mods` folder.
- **Configuration File Warning**: Do not touch the `ACOModManagerConfig.json` file unless you are absolutely sure.
💡 **This manager is specifically designed to manage skin mods that simply drag and drop `.forge` files. ** Get your mod management organized!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
