Valheim's Brazilian Portuguese localization has mistranslations, missing text, and descriptions that missed a few gameplay updates. The correction forms sent to Iron Gate seem to have sailed into the mist, so this mod fixes 356 of those texts locally while we wait for the longship to return.

The mod changes text only when the selected language is Brazilian Portuguese. It is client-side; the server does not need it.

What it fixes

• 184 mistranslations, typos, outdated descriptions, or missing passages. Examples include “Surtling Core” translated as Minério de Surtling (Surtling Ore), a world-save countdown that said Mundo salvo (World saved), and boss-power descriptions that no longer matched the game.
• 29 trophy lore entries that reused item descriptions instead of the lore shown in the trophy panel.
• 2 untranslated or outdated labels, including “Two-handed”.
• 141 sound captions that had no Brazilian Portuguese text.

The corrections were checked against the English source. Official naming choices such as Guardiões, Lagarto, and Lumetal were kept.

Compare with the official translation in-game

Press Shift + T to switch the corrections on or off immediately. A small message confirms the current state. The shortcut is configurable in BepInEx/config/razaotium.traducaoptbr.cfg under Tecla para alternar; Enabled controls the startup state. If a tooltip was already open, move the cursor away and back to refresh it.

On each language load, the mod reads the official strings from the currently installed game version. After a Valheim update, the off state shows the updated official text; the on state shows this mod's corrections for comparison. Corrections may need revision if Iron Gate updates the corresponding text.

Install

Install with a mod manager such as Gale or r2modman, or place TraducaoPTBR.dll in BepInEx/plugins. Requires BepInExPack Valheim. The mod only needs to be installed on the client.

A tradução brasileira de Valheim tem erros de sentido, textos ausentes e descrições que não acompanharam algumas atualizações do jogo. Os formulários de correção enviados à Iron Gate parecem ter embarcado rumo à névoa; enquanto o dracar não volta, este mod corrige 356 textos no seu jogo.

O mod altera os textos somente quando o idioma selecionado é Português do Brasil. É só para o cliente; não precisa instalar no servidor.

O que corrige

• 184 erros de sentido, palavras erradas, descrições antigas ou trechos faltando. Exemplos: “Surtling Core” traduzido como Minério de Surtling, a contagem para salvar o mundo que dizia Mundo salvo e descrições de poderes dos chefes que já não correspondiam ao jogo.
• 29 textos de lore de troféus que repetiam a descrição do item em vez da história exibida na aba de troféus.
• 2 rótulos sem tradução ou desatualizados, incluindo “Two-handed”.
• 141 legendas de som que não tinham texto em português brasileiro.

As correções foram conferidas com o original em inglês. Nomes escolhidos pela tradução oficial, como Guardiões, Lagarto e Lumetal, foram mantidos.

Compare com a tradução oficial dentro do jogo

Pressione Shift + T para ligar ou desligar as correções imediatamente. Uma mensagem mostra o estado atual. A combinação é configurável em BepInEx/config/razaotium.traducaoptbr.cfg, na opção Tecla para alternar; Enabled define o estado inicial.
