Time&DayDisplay

Time&DayDisplay is a lightweight Valheim BepInEx plugin that displays the current in-game day and time on screen.

In-Game Font

Time&DayDisplay uses Valheim's actual loaded in-game UI font:

AveriaSerifLibre-Bold

The plugin waits until Valheim has loaded its HUD/UI assets and then applies that font automatically. No external font installation is required.

Text Outline

The display can use a black outline to make the time easier to read against bright or detailed backgrounds.

OutlineEnabled = true

OutlineSize = 2

• OutlineEnabled = true enables the black outline.
• OutlineEnabled = false disables it.
• OutlineSize supports values from 1 to 5.

BepInEx Configuration Manager can display OutlineSize as a slider.

Position Sliders

The position controls use sliders from 0.0 to 1.0.

Horizontal Position

• 0.0 = far left
• 0.5 = center
• 1.0 = far right

Vertical Position

• 0.0 = top
• 0.5 = center
• 1.0 = bottom

The plugin measures the displayed text and limits the usable movement area automatically, so the clock can reach every edge without going off-screen.

BepInEx Configuration Manager will display these ranged settings as sliders.

Installation

Vortex Mod Manager / r2modman

Install Fly With Hammer through the mod manager. BepInEx will be installed automatically as a dependency.

Manual Installation

• Install BepInExPack for Valheim.
• Place Time&DayDisplay.dll inside:

Valheim/BepInEx/plugins/

• Start Valheim.

Configuration

The config is generated automatically by BepInEx.
