Adds a ward-like totem whose toggleable aura protects players inside it from skill drain on death.

No Drain Totem
No Drain Totem adds a new buildable piece to Valheim: a cyan-tinted ward that projects a visible aura. Players inside an active aura gain Totem's Grace, which prevents skill drain if they die.
How it works
- While you stand inside an active totem aura, Totem's Grace is refreshed to its full duration (10 seconds by default) every second.
- When you leave, the effect keeps counting down for that duration, so you stay protected briefly after stepping out.
- If you die while Totem's Grace is active, your skills are not lowered.
- Anyone can toggle a totem on or off by interacting with it. While it is active, it glows and a ring on the ground marks the aura.
- Unlike the vanilla ward, the totem does not block building or interaction.
Crafting
Build it with the Hammer, in the Misc tab, at a workbench:
- 10 Corewood
- 1 Draugr trophy
- 3 Iron
Configuration
Start the game once, then edit BepInEx/config/nodraintotem.valheim.cfg:
[Totem]
Aura radius = 20
Grace duration = 10
- Aura radius sets the aura size in meters.
- Grace duration sets how many seconds Totem's Grace lasts after leaving an aura.
Both values are enforced by the server and synced to clients.
Install the mod and Jotunn on the server and on every client.
