Creature Preview
Creature Preview adds a creature viewer to Valheim's character-select screen.
Browse the available creature prefabs, inspect their models, and customize the
preview without entering a world.

Creature viewer

| Creature Preview | Open the viewer from the character-select screen. |
| Choose Creature | Open the alphabetical creature list. |
| Previous / Next | Move between creature-list pages. |
| Creature name | Select that creature and return to the viewer. |
| Level − / + | Change the creature between levels 1 and 3. |
| Skin − / + | Cycle supported visual variants. This row appears only when variants are available. |
| Close | Close the creature list or Creature Preview. |
Free-fly camera

| Mouse | Look around freely. |
| W / S | Move forward or backward. |
| A / D | Move left or right. |
| Mouse wheel | Increase or decrease camera movement speed. |
| Hold Left Ctrl | Pause camera movement, show the cursor, and temporarily hide the preview panels. |
Installation
Mod manager
Install Creature Preview through a -compatible mod manager. Its
required dependencies will be installed automatically.
Manual
- Install BepInEx for Valheim.
- Install Jotunn.
- Copy Untamo.CreaturePreview.dll into BepInEx/plugins.
- Start Valheim and open the character-select screen.
- Select Creature Preview.
Notes
- Creature Preview is a client-side preview utility.
- Some unusual internal prefab variants may not have complete preview visuals.
- The Player prefab is excluded to prevent conflicts with Valheim's player instance.

- 啟動遊戲，BepInEx 控制台會列印載入日誌；確認這個模組出現在日誌裡即為安裝成功。
帶「前置依賴」的模組需要一併安裝，否則不會載入。功能開關通常在遊戲內或外掛自帶的設定檔裡調整。 多人連線時，主機與所有用戶端需要安裝一致的模組。
