Take full control of cinematics, intro sequences, and splash logos in Valheim 1.0.

Whether you've played for 3,700 hours and want an instant-launch experience straight to the main menu, or you want to experience each new cutscene once on your characters and never sit through them again, CinematicControl gives you granular, 3-way configuration for every cutscene in the game.

Features

• Three-Way Control Mode (AlwaysPlay, PlayOnce, Disabled):
• AlwaysPlay (0): Vanilla behavior. Every cinematic plays normally every time.
• PlayOnce (1): Plays once (first time game launches, or maiden playthrough for character), then automatically bypassed on future sessions. Cleanly reverts if you switch modes later!
• Disabled (2): Never plays. Bypassed immediately.

• Fast Game Launch:
• Studio Splash Logos: Skip the Iron Gate and Coffee Stain loading sequence to jump straight to the title screen.
• 1.0 Launch Cinematic: Skip or play once the animated launch movie played before the main menu.

• Valkyrie Intro Sequence:
• Maiden Flight (PlayOnce): Watch the iconic Valkyrie flight on a new character's very first world entry. Subsequent world entries and joins skip straight to the spawn stones!
• Smooth World Loading (No Object Pop-in): When skipping the Valkyrie flight, the mod cleanly holds the loading screen until the sacrificial stones, Vegvisir, and flora are fully generated, delivering a seamless transition into the world.
• Full Flight Corridor Map Exploration (RevealFlightMapPathOnSkip): When the Valkyrie flight is bypassed, the mod automatically reveals the entire flight corridor on your world map fog-of-war, preserving map discovery progress without the tedious wait!

• New World Intro Movie:
• Control the animated 1.0 introductory lore movie played when generating or entering a new world.

• Dream Sleep Cinematics:
• Choose whether the new 1.0 dream videos play during sleep.
• When bypassed or disabled, the game seamlessly falls back to classic Valheim dream lore text.

• Ending Cutscene & Credits:
• Control the post-boss outro cutscene and game ending credits sequence.

• Multiplayer & Server Safe:
• 100% client-side mod. Safe to use in singleplayer and on dedicated multiplayer servers.

Configuration

The configuration file is generated at BepInEx/config/com.drakosdj.cinematiccontrol.cfg after launching Valheim with the mod installed. You can also configure it live in-game using the BepInEx Configuration Manager (F1).
