If your like me have been disappointed with the vanilla wolves, then this mod is for you. This mod replaces the vanilla wolf skeleton with a new custom skeleton meant to give the wolves of Skyrim a more realistic and savage appearance. After looking through tons of pictures, sculptures and paintings and working within the confines of the vanilla mesh, I enlarged the limbs, neck and skull of the wolf and the result is a more realistic and savage wolf that will strike fear throughout Skyrim and the modding community. This affects all wolves in Skyrim

Savage Wolves uses a custom skeleton for the vanilla Wolves and will overwrite any mod that makes changes to the vanilla wolf skeleton. Mods that make sweeping changes to vanilla skeletons e.g."Realistic Ragdoll and Force" should be compatible as long as "Savage Wolves" is installed after those mods and allowed to overwrite their files.

Should be fully compatible with any texture mods, since this mod contains no textures of it's own only a skeleton. Which also makes it compatible with most other creature mods that do not edit vanilla skeletons.

Recommend Mod Manager or your favorite mod manager.

Install "Savage Wolves" after any mod that makes changes to the vanilla wolves and click "Yes to all" when prompted to overwrite any files.

This mod includes an "esp plugin", so load order shouldn't matter, but keep it below any major creature mods to be on the safe side.
