DESCRIPTION:

Adds three identical spell tomes to the game which allow the spell titled 'Ultra Cloak' to be learned. This is a combined frost, fire, whirlwind, lightning and solar cloak spell that lasts for 45 seconds when cast.

Spell Stats: Base 10 frost and stamina DPS, Base 10 fire DPS and 'On Fire' overtime damage, 5 whirlwind DPS and chance to be flung away, Base 10 shock and half magicka DPS, Base 10 solar DPS [Undead Only] and luminosity. Also grants a Base 25% Ice and Fire Resistance whilst the cloak is active. Ultra Cloak can be upgraded by choosing the relevant perks in the destruction school just like any other destruction spell.

In addition, three spell tomes exist which allow Thunder Cloak to be learned. (Combined frost, whirlwind, lightning cloak spell for 45 seconds with a base 25% fire resistance when cast). Also upgradable.

The combined effects of Ultra Cloak may be considered overpowered so for balancing purposes:

Charge time increased from 0.5 seconds to 1.5 seconds. Thunder Cloak = 1.2 seconds.

Duration decreased from 60 seconds to 45 seconds.

Base magicka cost is 800. Thunder Cloak = 500. For Reference: Frost Cloak costs 316, Blizzard costs 1106 according to the CK.

Classed as a Master Destruction Spell. (Ability to cast using one hand remains).

As a recommendable option, The Magic Effect FX of some cloak spells has been slightly tweaked which results in less visual obstruction whilst very much retaining the defining features of each type of elemental cloak. The cloak spells that have been tweaked are: Frost, Fire, Lightning, Stendarr's Aura. (See images or video for Before and After comparison).

LOCATION:

Two sets of spell tomes for the Ultra and Thunder Cloak spell can be found on a desk in Farengar's study in Whiterun, Dragonsreach and on Urag's desk in The Arcanaeum, College of Winterhold. A third tome for Ultra Cloak can be found within Fort Dawnguard, whilst a third tome for Thunder Cloak can be found at the summit of The Throat of The World.

REQUIREMENTS:

Skyrim Special Edition. Make sure you have DLCs enabled for Special Edition. They're Enabled By Default.

COMPATABILITY:

Pretty Much Any Mod. This is additive so it is Game-Safe. This does not change the attributes of any other existing magic spells or effects.

RECOMMENDED MODS:

Synergizes well with Ordinator - Perks of Skyrim by Enai Siaion. Master the revamped frost, fire and shock skills in the Destruction Perk Tree and let the true potential of Ultra Cloak be unleashed onto whatever stands in your way.
