Description

The Dawnguard expansion added the ability to craft elemental bolts for crossbows, but bethesda neglected to give our more conventional marksmen similar capabilities. This mod rectifies that, expanding elemental projectile crafting to all arrows in the base game and its expansions. Similar to Dawnguard's elemental bolts, these new elemental arrows require a batch of the base arrow and a bowl of elemental salts. Just as with Dawnguard, the quality of the arrow determines the strength of its elemental infusion. Crafting requires having the correct smithing perk, and the recipes are hidden unless you have at least one of the relevant arrow types in your inventory to avoid clutter. This mod's esp is flagged as an esl file, and will not take up a slot in your load order.

Compatibility

This mod adds explosion types, new projectiles, new arrows, and recipes to craft those arrows. It edits no base game content.

Mods that replace vanilla textures and meshes will have no conflict

Mods that alter crafting may lead to inconsistent recipes, but would be otherwise harmless.

Mods that add the ability to craft elemental arrows would be redundant, but harmless.

Mods that alter vanilla arrows will not have their changes forwarded to my elemental ones, and will require a patch.

Mods that add new arrows will not have elemental versions, and will require a patch to have them.

Patched Support For:

MorrowLoot Ultimate: Applies MLU's changes to arrows to the elemental variations, and adds elemental variations for MLU's Ancient Nord Hero arrows.

Make compatibility patches so arrows from other mods can also have elemental variations.
