REQUIREMENTS

The base mod for "Vanilla" requires all official DLC: Dawnguard, Hearthfire, Dragonborn.

COMPATIBILITY

Eh, well if a mod changes weight then yeah, without a patch it's probably not compatible.

As a side note for those that haven't thought of it yet, patches can easily patch over patches.  For example you create YourPatch for Mod1.  A user installs TheirPatch that is a compatibility patch for Mod1.  As happens in pretty much all cases TheirPatch copies every single value from every field of Item1 from Mod1 to its records as an override (to overwrite the records of Item1 from Mod1).  You, the author of YourPatch are patching Mod1 and NOT TheirPatch.  This means that when a user installs YourPatch and TheirPatch it is possible that the weight record in TheirPatch could overwrite the changed weight value in YourPatch.  Sort order alone won't always solve this sort of thing but even if it could, how would LOOT know which patch you consider more important?  Sorting sorts the order of all patches and not the records inside the patches themselves after all.
