First appared on TES ARENA, Hell Hounds are fire-breathing dark spirits from the Deadlands. They appear in canine form, with red skin, dark fur, and covered in a malignous black shadow, and hellish flames, with terrifying glowing red eyes. They are considered lesser daedra, and are often summoned as minions by fire aligned mages and dragon priests, and by some dremora lords. Hell Hounds can breath fire, and they serve commonly Dagon and the Deadlands.

Differently from Death Hounds, they are not actually a type of dog, but instead some type of uncorporeal

lesser dark spirit that takes the form of a giant flaming canine.

Barghests are lesser entities of plague and disease, and have no real stable form, being just a form of intangible plagued gas in their regular state. While summoned they create a half-solid half-gaseous shape to attack and charge in a suicide way into their foes, being desintegrated in a explosion of pestilent gas. In that form they resemble semi-ethereal green dogs, covered in gas, with big glowing yellow-greenish eyes and dread sharp teeth.

They are not actually hounds too, but invisible entities that serve Peryte, commonly known as spreaders of disease on mundus, also through possessing the body of people, causing them to go sick directly.
