Adds

• The ability to drink alcohol
• Cold damage

You can now drink alcohol directly from your inventory — just like other in-game beverages — by left-clicking on it.

Upon drinking, the player receives:

• Cold resistance for 60 seconds
• 25% poisoning
• 30% hydration
• A blurred screen effect lasting 5+ minutes
• The duration of the blurred screen effect is cumulative with each additional bottle consumed

Cold Damage

Cold begins to damage the player once it reaches 50% of their stamina.

The player receives:

• 5 HP damage every 5 seconds when cold reaches 50% of stamina

Players must now take care not to freeze to death, especially during winter.

Known Visual Bugs

• The alcohol drinking animation currently uses the waterskin drinking animation.
• A strange visual-only bug may occur when the player is about to die from cold: the game appears to restore the player's health. Despite the visible HP, the player will still die after taking two more cold-damage hits.
