Icon Pack

A BepInEx (mod loader) plugin for Shadows of Doubt. 106 items get their own inventory icon instead of the plain cube or a shared stand-in.

What it does

Many items in the game share one icon: every gun shows the same pistol, all five kinds of ammunition the same bullets, the combat knife a knife and fork, and dozens of everyday objects a plain cube. This pack gives them icons of their own, in the game's white-on-dark style.

• Weapons: every gun (Lazarus 5, Lazarus 5 Silenced, Lucky 7, Shackley Shotgun, Hamilton Rifle, Faucon Rifle), the pistol silencer, the combat knife and both kitchen knives, the katana and the vintage sword, the truncheon and both grenades.
• Ammunition: a box for each ammunition type and a casing for each caliber.
• Clothing: the baseball cap, the boot, the high heel and the plain shoe.
• Everyday items: tools (hammer, wrench, screwdriver, power drill, box cutter), bathroom items (toothbrush, razor, comb, soap, toilet paper, cleaning spray, perfume), the syringe, the umbrella, the pool cue, the heat pack, both dice, mugs and cups, art supplies, sports gear, instruments, bones, batteries, tapes and more.
• Cleaner slots: the faint cube drawn behind occupied inventory slots can be hidden, so the icons stand out. Empty slots keep the cube.

Items that are not in the pack keep their vanilla icon. Icons only change what you see; nothing about the items themselves changes.

Config

After one launch, edit BepInEx/config/sm3gm.sod.iconpack.cfg with the game closed.

Your own icons

Every.png in the plugin's icons folder replaces the icon of the item with the same internal name, for example Hammer.png. Square white art on a transparent background, 192x192 pixels, matches the rest of the pack.

Install

Use Mod Manager or r2modman and install as normal. BepInEx is installed automatically.

To install by hand:

• Install BepInExPack IL2CPP version 6.0.755.
• Put SoDIconPack.dll and the icons folder in BepInEx/plugins/IconPack/ inside your existing BepInEx folder.
