MonsterEscortGamemode

Description

The definitive mod for a "pretend" MonsterEscort gamemode. Key features include:

• If a single player is playing as a MonsterMash monster, they become an 'Escort Target' (Drones excluded)
• Health bar display for the escort target along with a 'stress bar' (controlled with the escort's scroll wheel)
• All players respawn endlessly (on an increasing cooldown per death) and not at all during the teleporter (configurable)
• If the Escort Dies, the run is over.

More features to come, such as

• Item trading with the escort
• Monster adjustments and 'Raid Parties' (big group of tough monsters that spawns across the map, and focuses solely on the escort. Kill them before they have a chance to hurt the escort!)
• Item adjustments (Razorwire is op on the escort)
• Banning certain maps / map variants (large monsters cant fit through certain doors -> teleporter behind door -> monster cant start teleporter if it's supposed to normally)
• etc etc

This was initially a silly fun thing to do with friends, but as I learn to code more this may actually end up turning into a real gamemode mod instead of a 'Pretend to be this monster mod'. Either way, I hope you find some fun out of it, even if it's very manual and just a framework currently.

"Monster Escort is a made up gamemode wherein a player (me, in this case) plays as an enemy (usually a boss) and follows a "script" of sorts defined in their overview."

Recommended to play with a mod that lets you give items to others, such as ZetArtifacts or the DropItem mod (/DropItem_Addition for the visual effect). There will be a built-in feature for this in the future.
