Explanation

I have over 7,100 hours on Risk of Rain 2 and wanted to experiment with buffling Blight to match Poison. I have played lots of Vanilla Eclipse 8 runs, learning from my favorite content creators such as Race, Cap, Rndthursday, Woolie, Disputed Origin, Raydans, and more. This allows my judgement to be the most correct it can be, with lots of experience and YouTuber facts to back it up. Check Cap's video on Poison vs Blight to see how it's really bad! I was inspired to make this mod when I saw a friend linking me various different ones. He told me that I could balance it better. As a community, we should always fully trust our beloved streamers. This is a homage to them! Have fun playing!

The mod currently does several things to buff Blight, Mainly:

Blight now has a 0.5 proc coefficient. This is to help it outshine Poison in highly scaling situations without being overpowered. I kept the number low in consideration of that. It gives it its own niche of possibly being better when doing macro for proc items.

Blight now reduces Armor by 10 per stack. It makes it a supportive ability compared to Poison, and it can stack much better in Multiplayer. Just check how busted Scorpion is! Surely it is an S tier item.

Blight now gives a little bit of curse on hit. This is a weird one - there is barely any niche in this but I thought it would be cool to lock down enemies like the Lunar Scavenger, or possibly future vanilla enemies. From what I have played, modded content always turns out bad and it is not worth the time to install, so I have not taken anything like that into consideration.

Blight now reduces regen on hit. Another weird one, I thought this would be an interesting experiment that makes Blight a lot more neat. It is not percent health damage, but it still scales with level slightly (just like Regen from items).

Blight now reduces damage by 5% per stack. I know, this seems like tackling on a lot of gimmicks just to make Blight good, but hear me out here. Adding lots of fun and interesting gimmicks to Blight might just make it fun and almost as powerful as Poison!

I could not get these working:

Low chance of activating on kill effects

Low chance of giving White Scrap (for Macro play)

Low chance of refreshing your buff timers.

Have fun gamers, I love this community. For a little bit of a backstory now. I have always been someone who likes control. All my relationships. Shopping. Cooking. Planning. Housekeeping. I do it all myself, for myself. Risk of Rain 2 is a game that allowed me to control itself almost entirely, and I love it for that. I could not imagine a world without Scrappers or Recyclers. This is a blessing to me, it turns the game into a knowledge and patience based game instead of a brainless shooter. I might not have much mechanical skill (I could not even beat any of the modded difficulties) but I sure am knowledgeable and love to Macro the game. I hope others like me will enjoy this mod.
