Fast Extraction

Makes Extraction Points wrap up almost instantly instead of sitting through

a ~3 second pause once everything's been sucked into the tube.

What it does

In vanilla R.E.P.O., once an Extraction Point finishes taking in valuables it

sits in a short "Complete" state (playing its completion jingle) for about

3 seconds before it actually moves on. The same 3 second pause also shows up

briefly during the point's "Warning" flash. This mod shrinks both of those

pauses down to a configurable delay — 0.1 seconds by default, so it feels

close to instant — without touching anything else about how extraction

works (the tube-sucking animation, haul requirements, and everything else

behave exactly like vanilla).

Configuration

After the first launch with the mod installed, a config file is generated at:

BepInEx/config/local.fastextraction.cfg

It has a single setting:

How it works (for the curious)

This mod doesn't patch or replace any game methods. It simply watches every

ExtractionPoint in the level each frame and, whenever one is in its

Complete or Warning state, clamps its internal countdown timer down to

the configured value. Everything else about the Extraction Point's behavior

is untouched.

Compatibility

• Doesn't use Harmony and doesn't patch any methods, so it should be

compatible with essentially anything else touching Extraction Points.

• Tested working alongside mods that add a manual "confirm extraction"

button.

• Multiplayer note: this hasn't been extensively tested with a mixed

lobby where only some players have the mod installed. For the smoothest

experience, it's recommended that everyone in the lobby (or at least the

host) runs it.

Installation

Manual:

• Install BepInEx 5.x for R.E.P.O. if you

haven't already.

• Drop FastExtraction.dll into BepInEx/plugins/ in your R.E.P.O. game

folder (the one containing REPO.exe).

• Launch the game — no further setup needed.

Mod manager (r2modman Mod Manager): just install through

the manager as usual.
