What if there was a reason we crash landed here...?
This mod is a work in progress, as many of the features I would consider necessary for a complete project aren't implemented yet. This mod currently serves mainly as a way to assign roles, and give the impostor a small buff. Nothing else.
With this mod, players will secretly be assigned "Impostor" or "Scout". The impostor's goal is to stop the run dead in its tracks. You only have a limited amount of time to pull it off though! Every campfire will reset the role assignments, so if the impostor failed, revive the crew and see how far you can push the run (otherwise, scouts who died early will be sitting out for a long long time).
Companion Mods
This mod is best supplemented by other mods. Here are my recommendations:
- WIP_ShorterVoiceRange by keveloper (me!)
- A fork of the NoMoreAudioFilters mod by BaaaRan, but on top of filtering audio it also reduces the proximity range, so it's easier to take out a scout without being caught.
- NoMoreGhost4Real by xammen
- Prevents ghosts from spoiling the impostor. Unfortunately have to honor system on not toggling it. In the future I want to make a fork of this that removes ghosts for living players only with no toggle.
- PushMod by boxofbiscuits97
- Haven't tested this but would be fun in theory.
- Useable_Dynamite by tony4twenty
- Might be overpowered for the impostor. Haven't tested this but would be fun in theory.
TODO:
- Automate win condition check for the impostor.
- Increase poison damage taken from poisonous food if not the impostor.
- Add frisbee to the luggage loot pool.
- Buff sleep dart spawn rate.
- Fix localization header for 8+ players impostor title, as well as excessive length.
- Make ghosts invisible to living players, but visible to dead players.
- Merge with ShorterVoiceRange mod.
- Reveal previous impostor(s) at each campfire.
- Allow the impostor to "fake" holding out a grabbing hand(?)
- Adding a slingshot item would be cool, but I don't have the skillset for that.
安裝與使用 安裝：BepInEx 外掛
- 本站下載的壓縮包就是模組本體，通常是 BepInEx 外掛（解壓後得到 .dll 或外掛資料夾）。
- 建議流程：用社群模組管理器（如 r2modman）選中本遊戲後匯入該模組，管理器會自動裝好 BepInEx 前置並處理依賴。
- 手動流程：先在遊戲目錄裝好 BepInEx 載入器，再把解壓出的 .dll 或外掛資料夾放進 BepInEx/plugins/。
- 啟動遊戲，BepInEx 控制台會列印載入日誌；確認這個模組出現在日誌裡即為安裝成功。
帶「前置依賴」的模組需要一併安裝，否則不會載入。功能開關通常在遊戲內或外掛自帶的設定檔裡調整。
