A curated MEGABONK modpack focused on expanding the game with QoL mechanics, automation of boring actions, UI enhancement and technical fixes, while keeping the original spirit of the game.

The pack is not designed for multiplayer. Some mods which can be considered "cheats" have been disabled by default, but are already integrated and shipped.

Recommended: use Gale Mod Manager to install and manage the modpack. Gale supports PEAK and profiles, handles dependencies automatically and makes updating or sharing the pack much easier. Download Gale / GitHub

⚠️ Online and leaderboard

• Using mods can ban you from online play and the leaderboards during their utilization; keep that in mind. I'm not responsible for the consequences that can result from ignoring this.

📍 Useful information

• This game uses a timed party to control every other gameplay aspect; there are mods to modify or change how time scaling is managed, but that can completely break the base game's difficulty, so I've decided not to include them enable by default.

• InGame Achievements and Unlocks - Adds the quest tracker and other elements to the in-game pause screen.
• Swap Starting Weapon - Allows you to replace any character's starting weapon with one of your choosing.
• Better Banishes and Skips - Makes banishes and skips more useful.
• LoadoutPresets - Save and Load presets for all of your items, tomes, and weapons.

🛠️ Quality of life

• AutoUpgradeForked - Automatically selects weapon and tome upgrades during level-ups with named loadouts, configurable hotkeys, weighted scoring, and a Show Only Unlocked toggle.
• AutoInteract - Enable auto interaction for pots, pumpkins, tumbleweeds, and more.
• Silver Pot Icon - Changes the Minimap Icon for Silver Pots to a blue hue to differentiate it from Brown Pots.
• InstantChestsBepInEx - Auto-opens chests and skips the animation.

📱 User Interface

• AlwaysShowBossArrow BepInEx - Always shows you a minimap arrow pointing towards the boss.
• Personal Leaderboard - An offline leaderboard that keeps record of your best runs by character.
• DetailedRunStats - Displays detailed player statistics on the death screen including combat stats, exploration progress, and stat changes during your run.
• MegabonkBetterMinimap - A BepInEx 6 mod that allows you to resize and zoom out the minimap, open the full map, etc.
• UnlocksSearch - Adds a search bar to the Unlocks screen for filtering on keywords.

🕹️ Control, command and interactio

• SpacebarBlock - Prevents accidental spacebar mashing from ruining your runs by blocking inputs for 3 seconds during level-up screens, shady guy purchases, and Moai consultations.

🔧 Fixes & Optimization

• ShadowFix - Enables dynamic shadows in-game.
• BhopFixed - Bunny hop fixed.

📍 Cheat (Disable by default)

• ToggleEverythingForBepInEx - A BepInEx port of Semibox's ToggleEverything. You can toggle all unlocked weapons, tomes and items.
• GoblinLab - Provides a set of tools for experimenting with game systems in a sandbox-like environment, including god mode, time skipping, spawning target dummies, and stopping enemy movement.
• XP Pickup All - Timer-based auto-collect of XP by calling PickupAllXp() every N seconds.
• **Slower Timer* - Reduces the timer speed making it easier to power up before the stage boss and final swarm.
