Testudination Ironman

This is a special version of our Testudination Modpack, setup for our own take on the Ironman challenge. Please check the original modpack page for details about the modpack itself!

⚠️ Here is a pack code version of this same pack, which i recommend personally over the download due to the organisation: 01a0bf51-6f73-eaa6-a02b-98cb1e30309e ⚠️

⚠️We strongly recommend you use Gale mod manager over R2modman. When importing, make sure it is to a new profile, and hit the advanced options dropdown and tick "Import All Files"⚠️

Ironman Rules

• You must complete a quota on each pair of moons in order, starting with Experimentation/Vow for Quota 1
• The game automatically handles the routing of the ship for you, taking you to each new pair each Quota.
• Overtime bonus is disabled fully. You just get what you sell, but you don't have to worry about route prices!
• Upon beating Quota 17 (Maritopia), you can then continue doing Quotas on any moon you like to push the record further

Differences to the Normal Pack

• The quota starts at 500 and increases by 500 flat each time. The quota no longer increases slightly per player death.
• The ship automatically routes to the next pair of moons each quota, and you cannot route to any other moons outside of the pair
• The ship automatically routes to the Company on the final day
• The Company sells at 0% outside of the final day, to prevent selling early
• Overtime bonus is disabled
• Once routed to a moon within a pair, you can then route between each moon for free, allowing you to choose freely between the two for that quota, as well as back to the Company
• Oxyde is Force-unlocked, but is only available on even-numbered quotas
• Moons are grouped by 2 in the terminal to be easier to read and understand
• Deaths no longer increase the Quota slightly
• There are no random moon discounts or the ability to route to a random moon
• You cannot buy extra days for the quota anymore, nor does the Quota increase past 3 days overtime anymore.
• There is no Daily Quota

We decided to put the moons in pairs for our take on the ironman challenge to make it more fun and still giving you some kind of meaningful choice to make each time in orbit, since the weather multipliers greatly affect the scrap value. This also cut the ironman in half to not take ridiculously long to get the final stage.

Here is the list of moon for each quota, paired with the Quota no. and how much you need to reach:

• Experimentation/Vow (Quota 1 - 500)
• Assurance/Collateral (Quota 2 - 1000)
• March/Gorgonzola (Quota 3 - 1500)
• Aquatis/Asteroid-13 (Quota 4 - 2000)
