Starter Pack Plus

Easy 1 Click Install Modpack containing every meaningful performance and bugfix mod as of v81. Planning to update this every time a new update, breaking change or vanilla fix happens. Plus also adds a few Tweaks/QOL and some more subjective fixes, but still trying to be an improvement rather than an advantage.

If you want ONLY Performance and Bugfixes try Starter Pack Instead!

This pack contains little to no visual and gameplay changes, but still if some fixes arent to your liking you can always disable them in their configs. I tried leaving more subjective fixes and tweaks for you to choose.

I recommend installing the modpack instead of the mods individually because Starter Pack also adds custom config designed to work with as many mods possible and not cause any errors.

This Modpack is meant to be added as the base of a pack, on top of your already existing pack or to play vanilla with more fps.

Plus

This version of the pack adds quite a few more features while still being tamed enough, but there are a few things you should take into account:

• ScienceBirdTweaks and NicheTweaks add many features, but for the sake of this modpack i disabled most of them, leaving only important bug fixes and tiny tweaks, you are always free to tweak them to your own liking via their configs (use mod managers config visualizer, heavily recommended Gale to have the best experience)
• Chameleon adds a few visual changes, nothing too crazy, i added support for the mineshaft and mansion interiors with most Wesleys Moons, Harvest Moons, Sma11's Moons, Orion, Wither, Ganimedes, Sector-0, Kast and Egypt. Any other support will have to be added manually. You can recommend more weights and support for other moons in the Starter Pack Thread on the Discord.

Also this mod brings back the planet preview feature from old Lethal Company versions, this feature breaks CelestialTint so i disabled it, if you dont use CelestialTint you can enable this feature back if you so desire.

Incompatibilities

Besides the planet preview config mentioned above, which shouldnt be a problem if you are using Starter Pack, there are only a few mods that arent incompatible right now:

• LethalHUD doesnt work with GoodItemScan right now, devs are working on a compatibility between the two but in the meantime chose either of them
• BetterItemScan doesnt work with GoodItemScan and a few configs in GeneralImprovements, this mod is 2 years old and outdated so a few of its features are not working properly, i recommend using GoodItemScan instead which is in Starter Pack Plus already, and if you want the total scrap in ship you can use ShipLoot.

More Performance for potato PCs

I've been told that UniversalRadar can affect performance on first load of a moon, since it has to generate the contour map, this only happens the first time you go to a moon and some moons, like Titan, dont have contour maps (not clear if its intended or not) so this mod gives contour maps to all those moons that are missing them, with the downside of longer loading time on first load, i opted out to leave it since i feel its important, specially for modded moons that dont have contour maps, but if you want faster loading times consider disabling this mod.

After some talk in the discord server, i recently Enabled LethalFixes Prop Shadows (this comes off by default) since this changes how lights and shadows are casted, this makes items with light (like apparatus or fancy lamp) look way worse, but increases performance, the idea of Starter Pack is to improve performance without changing how the game looks, if you need more fps i would consider disabling this back.

How to disable the config again using Gale mod manager

In the menu, go to the left bar and click where it says "Edit mod config"

Click the search bar and type "LethalFixes" (no space), click on LethalFixes and then where it says "Settings", in there you will find "Prop Shadows", Disable it and done!
