BaldiPlus

Baldi Plus is a mod that adds Baldi from Baldi's Basics as a new enemy! He introduces a few new mechanics that keep him continuously interesting to play against.

I'd recommend trying out the mod for yourself before reading his mechanics! It adds to the experience!

He has two main phases:

Phase 1: Tag

This is the phase that Baldi will be in upon spawning. He is entirely harmless in this phase!

He will slowly try to make his way towards the nearest player, staying still if he's in any players' line of sight.

His speed increases overtime, so it's inevitable that he'll successfully tag a player after a while.

Upon tagging a player, he'll begin to count down from 10. He doesn't see anything whilst counting, and so players are advised to get away from him.

Once he finishes counting, he enters his next phase, and won't return back to the tag phase for the rest of the day.

Phase 2: Hide & Seek

During this phase Baldi will chase down players in an attempt to cause them a game over.

Baldi's slapping interval (known as his 'Anger') increases over time, and will thus be more of a challenge to avoid as the day progresses.

Baldi can hear several different sounds across the map to figure out where players are located.

Different sounds have unique ranges that Baldi can hear them from, as well as different priority values affect how much they influence his behaviour.

When Baldi touches a player whilst angry, it's an instant gameover for that player.

However, Baldi is a math teacher. It'd be irresponsible of him to not test his students!

Notebooks

During the Hide & Seek phase Baldi will periodically spawn notebooks.

Players can open these notebooks to access the YouCanThinkPad™, where a series of 3 simple math problems can be solved.

It's important to note that players can't move or regenerate stamina while they have a notebook opened!

However, the notebook can be closed at any point in time.

The problems and progress of each notebook is synced across players, so multiple players can work together to complete a notebook.

If a player manages to solve all 3 questions correctly, then the following will occur:

• Baldi will briefly stop attacking to congratulate the player. He can not harm anyone during this period.
• Baldi's anger will decrease a small amount.
• The player will fully regenerate their stamina.
• 25 credits will be added to the current total. (Doesn't count towards the quota)

If a player fails any of the questions the notebook will automatically close itself and a small increase will be added to Baldi's anger as a penalty. Baldi will also be alerted to the position of the notebook.

Notebooks take longer to spawn the more that are active on the map.

Several values are configurable in the mod's config.
