Item Retriever

Pull lost items back from the ocean, lava, or anywhere on the map.

Throw a rod, gun, or tool away by accident? Press F8 — it flies back in front of you. Press E to pick it up.

Install

• Install BepInEx
• Put the DLL in BepInEx/plugins.
• Launch once to generate the config.

Use

• Lose an item (water, lava, or far away).
• Press F8.
• Item lands in front of you → press E.

Defaults

• Key: F8
• Range: 8 m (set MaxRange = 0 for unlimited)
• Works from ocean, lava, and land
• Types: rods, weapons, tools, other items
• Ignores fish, bait, and boat parts
• Host-only in multiplayer
• Free (no money cost by default)

Config

Edit BepInEx/config/ after first launch:

• MaxRange / MinRange — distance limits
• AllowedItemTypes — All or Rods,Weapons,Tools
• BlacklistNames — names to skip
• AllowFromOcean / AllowFromLava / AllowFromAnywhere
• HostOnly — only host can retrieve

Notes

• Moves the real item; does not spawn a duplicate.
• Rods: if several exist, only the farthest is pulled.
• Pick up with E (same as normal ground items).
