Behold: Pirates
Adds hostile pirate fleets to the open ocean in How to Fish.
Sail far enough from shore and pirate boats may appear near the horizon. Their crews chase nearby players, circle their targets, and open fire. The farther you travel, the more dangerous the encounters become.
Features
- Pirate fleets hunt players who venture beyond an island's shoreline.
- Fleets become stronger as you improve your gear and travel farther from shore.
- Pirates steer, shoot, replace fallen drivers, and retreat when they can no longer fight.
- Defeated boats sink, and pirate corpses can be collected, sold, eaten, grilled, or gambled.
- Works in multiplayer when one player hosts the game.
- Difficulty, fleet limits, and boundary markers can be changed in the mod's settings.
- The host can toggle /piratestream to stage continuous, reinforcement-driven combat between two differently skinned pirate fleets and film the central action in a clean 16:9 frame with an automatic cinematic camera.
Installation
Install Behold: Pirates Mod Manager, r2modman, or Gale. The required BepInEx runtime is installed automatically.
For manual installation, install BepInEx 5.4.23.5 x64 and copy Behold.Pirates.dll into BepInEx/plugins/Behold.Pirates.
For mod developers
