M8A1 Burst Assault Rifle
I was in the camp thinking they didn't do enough with this rifle to match the likes of BO2 and BO3 for their M8 rifles. Not enough emissions, not enough curves. To me, this is just another Holger rifle, even though I know it isn't.
But when I paint it black and give it full auto, it becomes even more apparent, and I'll think you'll see it too. A bonus full auto version will make the lines blurrier, the simularities uncanny.
I think the iron sights are the worst offenders, although the MPC25 has first place in iron sight atrocities, M8A1 is not far off in that regard. Such a tiny window for the rear aperture, bleh, gross.
That being said, what I did for the BO3 M8A7 was more of a greivance then what they did with the BO2 M8A1. They could add a emissive ghost ring on the rear aperture and turn my thoughts around, but my M8A7 has waaaay more issues that need to be resolved. Maybe I'll look back into it later on for 2026.
